The ALC 2000 has the ability to do a dry water resistance test on a watch down to 10 bars (100 meters or about 330 feet). The test is performed in a static environment and is the first part of a two stage test water test that is performed on professional divers watches, such as the Seiko Monster, Tag Heuer Aqualand or the Omega Seamaster.
